Nancy McCarthy
My paintings scrutinize the physical world and are a synthesis of a personal surrealism, energy and sensation. They are the result of slow, meditative studies of the lines, unexpected shapes and colors puzzled out to converge and make an image which when successful, resonates for the viewer.
